LOGLINE:  
A group of radical activists break into a government facility to rescue and release laboratory apes, only to discover that the creatures they want to save have become sinister, killing machines. Now trapped and running out of time, the liberators become the prey.

SYNOPSIS:
SAMANTHA (“Sam") and her animal liberation crew learn of a government facility that’s secretly experimenting on Great Apes. Determined to save these innocent creatures, Sam and her crew kidnap DR. FERRIS, the lead scientist, and use him to break in. But once inside the facility they discover something far worse: the scientists are developing new military "black op" biological weapons; frankenstein-like killing machines that they call "Augments".

A member of Sam's group inadvertently releases the Augments, sending the facility into lockdown and trapping everyone inside. The three creatures, ALPHA, BETA & GAMMA, separate and hunt down the activists one by one, communicating and coordinating like a pack of wolves.

In the end, Sam reawakens the humanity in one of the creatures before one final twist reveals that not all liberators have the same goal in mind.
